Crossbell was the site of an ongoing territorial war in both the Republic of Calvard and the Erebonian Emperor. Since then, it has developed to become a thriving city-state that is considered to be one of the significant economic centers in the world.
Lloyd Bannings, who spent three years exiled from Crossbell, returns to the town he grew up in to continue his brother’s legacy and join Crossbell Police Department. Lloyd arrives and discovers the department has assigned him to the Special Support Section. This is a department that deals with minor and odd requests. They meet his new colleagues who include Elie MacDowell who is the grandchild of the mayor’s daughter; Randy Orlando, a womanizing ex-soldier; and Tio Plato, a budding technological genius.
Lloyd and his team continue their fight for a better city, even though the department they work for is criticized by the media. However, as they go about their business they gradually come in contact with the criminal corruption that has taken over their city. They’re unaware of just how deep the Shadows in Crossbell City reach…
